I was looking at my collection of seashells today and noticed something peculiar. There was a long tan shell that looked plain enough. There were no intricate markings on it and it didn’t spiral like my favorite conch shells. I was about to throw the shell back into the basket when I noticed that there was something shiny on the inside. I turned it over and found that the inside of the shell was coated with with a snow white substance that shimmered in the light.
